DCCEEW-Water are replacing the Water Sharing Plan for the Nambucca Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2016 and would like to discuss relevant issues with stakeholders in the Nambucca Valley. 

The purpose of a water sharing plan is to:

  • protect the fundamental environmental health of the water source
  • ensure the water source is sustainable in the long-term, and
  • provide all water users with a clear picture of when and how water will be available for extraction.
